Overview

The Protect and Unprotect My Excel Workbook automation allows you to quickly password-protect Excel workbooks from editing or remove an existing password from the Excel workbooks. It can process a single workbook or a folder of Excel workbooks and protects or unprotects them based on the operation you’ve chosen. The automation is great for protecting confidential reports, removing passwords from shared workbooks, or batch protecting/unprotecting all your files.

Beginning with version 2.2.0, we have migrated this automation to Windows (.Net 5.0 or higher) project.

If you need the Windows-Legacy project version, please download version 2.1.0.
