Overview
Receiving Goods and Services is an important process within Procure to Pay confirming that goods or services have been received per the purchase agreement (the PO). Bridled by high-volume manual invoice processing, the challenge of capturing accurate invoice data, and the high cost of EDI solutions, many finance leaders struggle to achieve their productivity and cost efficiency goals.
This Process Goods Receipt Solution Accelerator utilizes UiPath Document Understanding instead of stand-alone OCR technology to substantially increase data accuracy across the variety of incoming supplier packing slips (documents). The Accelerator also includes a UiPath pre-trained ML model for these document types. This Solution Accelerator was co-developed in partnership with The Silicon Partners (TSP).
The Process Goods Receipt data is then used to support the 3-way match process to authorize vendor payment.
