Microsoft PowerBI Integrations

Users require PowerBI application in an installed manner.

  

1\. Download this .nupkg and save it in your desired location.

2\. Open a blank process and then use “Manage Activities”, install **UiPath.Database.Activities** and **Power\_Bi\_Analyzer** activity under the CG2020 RPA Elites package.

3\. Drag and drop the  **Power\_Bi\_Analyzer** activity in a sequence and fill the following details.

4\. In the Property pane of **Power\_Bi\_Analyzer** activity input:

*   **Filepath:** Location of the Power BI file with its name and extension (.pbix) should be provided.
*   **Parameter:** Users need to provide anyone of the following parameter as string:

1.  Measures
2.  Tables
3.  Tables and Columns
4.  Calculated Columns
5.  Datasources

  

**N.B:** Pass the name with the same spelling as we have provided above.

**ResultTable:** The output will be saved in a DataTable format. Assign a variable for this parameter.

Analysing the Power BI projects and extracting all the information such as Measures, Tables, Datasources, etc. as descending those details is not an easy task

The package includes 2 Power BI Dashboards, one for jobs and two for queues, each of which contains multiple views:

Queues:

*   Queues Overview: executive view of the transactions performed during the selected time frame, by final status, for the whole period and over time
*   Active Queues: a summary of the queue items currently in process and pending (in queue), broken down by queue name, SLA status and priority
*   Queues Analytics 1&2 identifies key metrics for the transactions executed during the chosen time frame, centered around final status, SLA status, duration processing and time spent waiting in queue
*   ROI visualizations

Jobs:

*   Jobs Overview: executive view of the jobs performed during the selected time frame, by final status, for the whole period and over time. Also provides the robot utilization in hours worked / robot / day
*   Active Jobs: a summary of the jobs currently in process and pending. Currently running jobs are listed.
*   Analytics Jobs 1&2 identifies key metrics for the jobs executed during the chosen time frame, centered around final status, duration, duration in pending and volumes (number of times) processed
*   ROI visualizations
