Microsoft PowerPoint Integrations

The following activities are included:

1\. **PowerPoint Scope** - opens a PowerPoint and keeps the instance with it.

It will be used by child activities. When the execution of this activity ends, the specified PowerPoint is closed. This will happen after the execution of all child activities This activity can only be used if the Microsoft PowerPoint application is installed on the machine.

2\. **Insert Picture** – insert a picture in a specific slide and specific position with height and width.

It can only be used together with the PowerPoint Scope activity.

3\. **Find & Replace** - activates the Find and Replace functionality in a specified slide.

It can only be used together with the PowerPoint Scope activity.

4\. **Find & Replace Dictionary** - activates the Find and Replace text from the dictionary functionality in a specified slide. This single functionality can replace more words at a time. 

5. **Refresh Data** - refresh the chart data.

It can only be used together with the PowerPoint Scope activity.

6\. **Save As** - activates the Save as functionality. 

7\. **Slide Count** \- counts the slides available in the PowerPoint file.

8\. **Insert Text Box** – inserts a text box in a specified position within the slide.

9\. **Slide Copy** - copies the slide to the clipboard. 

10\. **Slide Paste** - pasts the slide to the clipboard. 

11\. **Delete Images** - deletes all the images from a specified slide.

The package has many activities to help making the PowerPoint automation activities easier

The activity will first make sure there is no PowerPoint process running. If there is none, then it will create its own instance given a certain FilePath. Text can be entered based on the slide number, font, font size, and the shape on the slide. The shapes will be be numbered on the slide in a counterclockwise fashion. With this information a developer can replace the inefficient process of going through the User Interface. 

This activity has the following inputs:

*   FilePath ( string containing the full path of the PowerPoint presentation ) 
*   SlideNumber ( index to indicate where the slide should be inserted ) 
*   Content ( actual text to be entered )
*   FontName ( font for the text ) 
*   FontSize ( size of the text )
*   ShapeNumber ( which shape on the slide will have its text edited )

EditPowerPointSlide will edit text on a PowerPoint slide on a specific presentation according to font, font size, slide number in the presentation and shape on the slide

This activity has been built to automate the PowerPoint presentation using UiPath.

**Installation**:

Install the nugget package through UiPath Package Manager.

*   **Activity Name : Read PowerPoint**

Description: Returns text from all slides.

Description: Return total number of slides available in ppt

Set of activities to work with PowerPoint

The activity will create an instance of PowerPoint depending on the file path. An empty slide will be added and then the application will close. This is meant to be used when the amount of slides in a presentation is dynamic.

*   **Delete Slide** - Delete the specific slide using slide Index.
*   **Export To PDF** - Export the PowerPoint file to PDF file.
*   **Insert Picture** - Insert the image in a specific location with size.
*   **Insert Slide** - Insert a new slide.
*   **Create PowerPoint** - Create a new PowerPoint file.

The package is meant to automate building out and changing content on a PowerPoint presentation

*   **Text ShapeEdit** \- To edit the text shape inside the slide of the PowerPoint
*   **Chart Image Extract** - Extract the chart as an image.
*   **ChartCopyToClipboard** - Copy the chart the into the clipboard
*   **ChartDelete** - Delete the chart
*   **ChartFormat** \- Format the chart with left,top,width,height
*   **PasteClipboard** - Paste the clipboard data inside the slide
*   **SaveAs** - Save as (pdf, Presentation and etc..)
